Hi,

thank you for this informative post. I was previously using recursive filesystem copies but was looking for a more appropriate alternative. Will try to implement this into my crontab later on.

Cheers!

So ... the syntax for the incr dump is ...

svnadmin dump powerstream -r 7042 –incremental > powerstream.dmp-7042

and this dumps on rev 7042+ ...

and then to load ...

svnadmin load powerstream < powerstream.dmp-7042

and this loads ONLY the incr bits over the existing or do I need to supply a
-incremental arg as in the dump ?

Please let Me know the complete syntax sequence so I can impl this ... would really help right now as We are moving to a new Server and Testing and Implementing a "moving" target is to say the least ... challenging ! Thx !!

Excellent article.

One question....How would I do an automatic, nightly, incremental backup of a repository if it requires knowledge of which revision numbers are in the repository?
